Something to talk about....

I haven't been able to update our blog for a while....but there has DEFINITELY been things going on, so I thought I would update our blog to let everyone know.

Well, we went to new york about 2 weeks ago and as we were there we had the opportunity to go to a yankees / red sox game.  Anyway, this story does have a point I promise.  So, as we were there nate had this "funny" thing happen.  We were just sitting there and then the next minute he was prancing  around and saying that he has to go to the bathroom SO BAD!  I thought it was funny because it came on suddenly, but then it started to get worse.  So then finally his dad noticed that something was up and instantly got worried.  I just thought it was funny but now I was so grateful for my father in law.

So, the next morning his dad got him a doctors appointment and next thing I know nate came home telling me that he has type 1 diabetes and that he has to take a shot EVERY SINGLE TIME he wanted to eat something.  SAD!  It has been a hard adjustment in our house, but he has been such a trooper.  There have been some hard days for him as he is adjusting to the shots, but all is well.

I just wanted to post some "things" that have been happening to us so everyone knows.  I am sorry there haven't been any pictures lately, but I will try to get better at that!  Things have just been a little crazy around here....I am sure you understand!

Hey Nate- you need to head to Idaho Falls and see Dan's dad after Sun Valley. He's one of the foremost endocrinologists in the West. He'd definitely be able to help you manage this new complication in your life.
