Friday night I was able to have one of my dreams come true. I know many of you will laugh when you read what it is, but I was SO EXCITED!
I was able to go to the BILLY JOEL/ELTON JOHN CONCERT!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!
I have to say that it was absolutely amazing! I am afraid I didn't get the best pictures because I wasn't sure if I could bring a camera in or not so these may not be the best, but hey, I WAS THERE!
I don't know if you remember but clear back in april of last year I won these tickets off of FM100 here in Utah. I was so excited to go but the concert was scheduled for Nov. 20th. But then Elton John got sick with the swine flu and so the concert was postponed, but luckily not canceled. So finally after almost a year of anxiety and anticipation, Nate and I were able to see one of the greatest shows ever!
I do have to admit though that Billy Joel (whom I like more then elton john) sounded like he was aging, but he still sounded AMAZING...and he was funny as well! So great! But elton john sounded exactly like he does on the radio. SO MUCH FUN!
They played almost every single song that I wanted them too from: Your Song, Rocketman, Moving out, We didn't start the fire, Allentown, crocodile rock, River of dreams, and of course Piano man! The concert went for 3 hours!
SO FUN!
Thank you FM100 for making one of my dreams come true!

You just crack me up and I loved reading your blog! I so would have loved to go to this so I guess I am saying that I am totally jealous! Glad you had fun and more importantly, check of one of your dream come true's!
