Motherhood has its ups and downs. There are those sleepless nights; those fussy moments when you have no idea what your child wants or needs and you try everything anyway, but to no avail.
I have to admit I have had many of those nights where I just want to throw my hands in the air and throw a mini-tantrum like I used to when I was 2 years old because I didn't know what to do with gabe and I was so tired.
But then I have moments like this, moments of total and absolute bliss.
Moments where you forget about those long sleepless nights
or those days when you just don't think you can make it any longer
and it makes everything worth it.
It makes it so you actually might think about having another one
(don't get any ideas, that thought it WAY in the future!)
You think, "that is why we do this!"
Motherhood becomes a positive thing. A thing you look forward too every day. You can't wait to see him, you can't wait to hear what will come out of his mouth next or to see that smile when you get him out of the crib.
He knows you. He loves you. And it is staying that way!
