I had surgery on Feb. 13th for a bunion on my foot. I do have to say that it was so PAINFUL! I am still in a little bit of pain, but it is so much better then it was the first 2 days!
I am not able to drive for the next week to two weeks and I have crutches to help me get around for a while. My foot is so swollen that it is so hard for me to put pressure on my foot, but the swelling has already gone down a lot, so that is good!
Nate has been so good to me! He has my favorite movies set out, my favorite snacks right next to the couch, and when I came home he had a bed set out on the couch just for me! he is so great!
I get to take the bandages off soon, so I will take a good picture of my stitches and bruises and post them soon!

That's crazy!! Yet another thing that you and Chris have in common....foot surgery. LOL. That and liking plain bagels. We miss you guys! I hope you are totally back on your feet for your big trip!
Hope you are feeling better... My mom actually had a bunion removed a couple of weeks before you did. It will take a little while to recover, but I'm sure you will do just fine...
Greg here, you know Megan's husband. Boy you really know what to give the people what they want to see! I, sickly, love surgery pictures. It fills that void of the doctor that I will never be. Also my dad taught me from early on that paying a doctor to remove the stitches is a big waste of money. I double dog dare you to let Nate take them out when it's time. Just a small snip to the side of the knot and a gentle tug with some tweezers will do the trick!
