A day in the park

Don't you love nice weather?

I am so glad that it is nice now that he is old enough to be outside 

and WANT to be out there!

Gabe just loves being with his daddy!

Gabe LOVES to move!  He has always been that way.  

WAHOO!  GO FASTER!

I love parks!  What a change of pace from the norm.  

I highly recommend them if you have a child!

Such a great way to entertain him as I am cooking dinner.

Solids, FINALLY!

After MUCH deliberation, we finally decided that Gabe was certainly ready for solids!

And you would sure say he was!

MOM CHECKETT'S GRADUATION

After 2 years of crazy hours, long nights, and many research papers later, I am so proud

to say that my mother in law just graduated with her Masters from Columbia University!

We went out for an amazing week to celebrate the AMAZING accomplishment.

(and here is grandma excited to be a grandma again, instead of a student!)

We drove EVERYWHERE this weekend and cute uncle Ben ended up being the "pillow"

for my niece Abigail.

Gabe LOVES his uncles and can't ever get enough of them!

We decided to have a fun night and head to Cheesecake factory for dinner.

After an hour wait, we finally were able to eat!

Then here is my nephew Connor after a long, but VERY fun weekend.

BLOG FREEZE

I know I know it has been almost 2 weeks since my last blog post

I AM SO SORRY!

You see, I have a million things that I would LOVE to blog about

because we have a lot going on in our lives,

But BECAUSE we have a lot going on in our lives right now

I HAVE NO TIME TO BLOG!

So I will do a massive blog post when I can!

SAD DAY...

I just finished watching American Idol

and I am SO SAD!

DANNY WAS MY FAVORITE!

I have to admit I might not even watch the finale next week

BECAUSE I HATE ADAM!  

(granted, he is very talented, but man....)

Oh, I am not going to be able to sleep tonight I am so mad!

WHAT MAKES IT ALL WORTH IT...

You guys have to see this! 

 We have been trying for a month to get this on film 

and we finally did!

THE DAILY GRIND

This is EXACTLY how I feel every single day!

100 DAY CHALLENGE

Today my family is starting something called

the 100 DAY CHALLENGE.

It is simple, yet so exhausting!

We start off small, with one push up and one sit up

 then tomorrow we do two sit ups and two push ups

until 100 days go by and we end up doing a total of

5,050 push ups and 5,050 sit ups!

YIKES!

What were we thinking?
