I had surgery on Feb. 13th for a bunion on my foot. I do have to say that it was so PAINFUL! I am still in a little bit of pain, but it is so much better then it was the first 2 days!
I am not able to drive for the next week to two weeks and I have crutches to help me get around for a while. My foot is so swollen that it is so hard for me to put pressure on my foot, but the swelling has already gone down a lot, so that is good!
Nate has been so good to me! He has my favorite movies set out, my favorite snacks right next to the couch, and when I came home he had a bed set out on the couch just for me! he is so great!
I get to take the bandages off soon, so I will take a good picture of my stitches and bruises and post them soon!
The car is really dirty right now, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to see our awesome new car! We LOVE IT!
Nate has been having this sore on his neck for the past 2 weeks and didn't know what it was. Then yesterday it was hurting him so bad (and it grew a little bit) that we finally decided to take him into the hospital to see what was going on.
Well, it turns out that it was a cyst in his neck that was infected. It was so gross to be standing there watching the doctor stick something that looked like tweezers in his neck and poked all under the skin to get out all of the infection....IT WAS SO GROSS! But I am glad that he is getting this taken care of. Ouch!
We had such a great time in St. Louis with the checketts. We were able to go to a Blues game where
they gave out free lunch. I was brilliant! It was also fun to see Mom and Dad Checketts behind the counter serving the fans! (Lily even had her chance to do it as well) It was great, even though the
Blues lost.
